Travel Meet Asia 2025 to Boost Southeast Asia Tourism with Government Support and Industry Leaders

Travel Meet Asia 2025 (TMA) is set to make a significant impact on the Southeast Asian tourism industry by joining forces with Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

Taking place on June 25–26, 2025, at Swissôtel Jakarta PIK Avenue, the event promises to drive regional tourism growth by bringing together top-tier buyers, industry leaders, and influencers from various sectors of the travel and tourism industry.

With more than 400 buyers confirmed and industry giants such as Accor, Google, Sabre Corporation, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, and UP Group Asia slated to share their insights, TMA 2025 stands as a pivotal platform for businesses looking to forge new partnerships, explore emerging trends, and unlock the full potential of Southeast Asia’s tourism markets.

Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, under the leadership of Deputy Minister for Marketing, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, has fully endorsed TMA 2025, underscoring the importance of strengthening international tourism partnerships to stimulate economic growth. The government’s support highlights its strategic focus on promoting key destinations such as Bali, Yogyakarta, and Jakarta, which remain essential hubs for tourism and cultural exchange in Southeast Asia.

The collaboration between TMA 2025 and Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism marks a significant step in the country’s efforts to boost its tourism sector, particularly in the wake of the global travel recovery. As Indonesia continues to evolve as a global tourism leader, TMA 2025 will provide invaluable opportunities to showcase destinations such as Bali, Yogyakarta, and Jakarta to a global audience.

Bali, often considered the jewel of Indonesia’s tourism offerings, is well-known for its lush landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and pristine beaches, attracting millions of visitors each year. Yogyakarta, with its historical landmarks and vibrant art scene, is another key destination that embodies Indonesia’s cultural diversity. Jakarta, as the capital city, plays a central role in Southeast Asia’s corporate travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, making it a prime location for business travel, networking, and industry collaboration.

TMA 2025’s alignment with the Ministry’s broader tourism strategy aims to bring together top decision-makers and influencers who can drive the region’s tourism to new heights, enhancing economic growth while fostering cultural exchange and global partnerships.

TMA 2025 is set to feature a diverse lineup of exhibitors, representing both established and emerging businesses across the tourism sector. Notable exhibitors include The Ascott Limited, Celyon Escapade, DidaTravel, Khiri Travel, Miki Travel, Nippon Travel Agency, and Heritance Aarah & Adaaran Resorts, among others. These companies will showcase their innovative products and services, aimed at addressing the evolving demands of travelers and businesses in Southeast Asia.

The conference agenda is designed to address key themes that will shape the future of the travel industry. These include:

The Indonesian government’s active role in supporting TMA 2025 is crucial in positioning the country as a leader in Southeast Asia’s tourism recovery. By partnering with regional associations such as the Association of the Indonesian Tour and Travel Agents (ASITA), the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS), and the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), TMA 2025 reinforces its credibility and importance as a platform for accessing key travel markets across the region.

Through TMA 2025, Indonesia is reaffirming its position as a hub for international tourism, attracting key stakeholders from across the globe to engage in meaningful discussions, foster collaboration, and create new growth opportunities for Southeast Asia’s travel industry.

Trade visitors interested in attending TMA 2025 are encouraged to register early by June 20, 2025, to take advantage of early bird rates. By securing their tickets ahead of time, visitors gain exclusive access to one-on-one appointments, networking sessions, and expert-led conferences that will shape the future of the travel industry.

Over 400 top buyers from across Southeast Asia and beyond have confirmed their attendance at TMA 2025. These buyers represent sectors such as incentive travel, corporate travel management, tour operations, and online distribution. Companies like Bain & Co, United Laboratories Inc (UNILAB), Miki Travel Asia, Corporate Incentive Travel Planners Sdn Bhd, and WebBeds are sending their top buyers to the event, ensuring that TMA 2025 is a high-caliber gathering for industry professionals looking to form new partnerships and gain fresh perspectives.

With its government backing and strategic focus on Southeast Asia’s burgeoning travel market, TMA 2025 is poised to become a definitive platform for businesses in the tourism sector. The event provides unique opportunities to engage with leading industry players, gain insights into emerging trends, and explore the full potential of key tourism destinations across Indonesia, including Bali, Yogyakarta, and Jakarta.

By facilitating curated meetings, expert-led discussions, and showcasing innovative products and services, TMA 2025 will help shape the future of travel in Southeast Asia and contribute to the region’s continued success as a global tourism powerhouse.
